  • There are many different reasons why you might need to get a name changed, added or removed from your bill. Find out what information we'll need and how to contact us below.

  • Moving home

    If you’ve recently moved to or from a property that we supply, you should begin with our moving house pages.
    They’ll tell you exactly what we need to know and you can give us the details of your move online.

    Bereavement

    We understand how difficult it is when someone passes away. Our dedicated team of advisers are here to help.

    Call us on 0800 980 8754* and we’ll resolve any accounts as quickly as possible.

    We’ll need to ask you a few questions, so please try to have the following information to hand when you call:

    • Who you are and your relationship to the account holder
    • Details of the account (account number or address)
    • The date the person in question passed away
    • A contact phone number
    • Who will now be responsible for the property.

    In certain circumstances, we may ask for a copy of the death certificate.

    For any other reason

    You may need a name changed for a reason we haven’t mentioned yet, such as marriage, divorce or because someone has moved in with you.

    In these, or any other circumstances we haven’t covered, please call us on 0800 980 8754*. We’ll need to know why the change is needed and the following information:

    • Details of the account (account number, address, holders etc)
    • The date this change is needed from
    • An up-to-date meter reading
    • A contact telephone number
    • If someone is going to be added to or removed from the account, we’ll need to have a quick chat with that person to confirm they’re happy with the change being made.

    In certain circumstances we may ask for supporting paperwork, such as a tenancy agreement.
