You may need a name changed for a reason we haven’t mentioned yet, such as marriage, divorce or because someone has moved in with you.
In these, or any other circumstances we haven’t covered, please call us on 0800 980 8754*. We’ll need to know why the change is needed and the following information:
- Details of the account (account number, address, holders etc)
- The date this change is needed from
- An up-to-date meter reading
- A contact telephone number
- If someone is going to be added to or removed from the account, we’ll need to have a quick chat with that person to confirm they’re happy with the change being made.
In certain circumstances we may ask for supporting paperwork, such as a tenancy agreement.
